Warnings and Notices

	Winter Storm Warning
Statement as of 11:50 AM CST on January 09, 2009 ... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1 PM EST /12 PM CST/ Saturday... Snow will gradually taper off south of the toll Road this afternoon with light to occasionally moderate snow continuing from the toll Road north. Total daytime snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are expected. Snow will redevelop late tonight south of the toll Road and continue over the region through the morning Saturday before tapering off Saturday afternoon. Total snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches are anticipated from this storm... with the greatest amounts along and north of the toll Road. A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight... food... and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
